Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 February 2026
The short version
We collect the minimum data needed to make Hey Quickie work. We don't sell your data. We don't do anything creepy with it. That's the gist.
What we collect
- Email address — When you join the waitlist. So we can tell you when the app launches.
- Name — Optional. Only if you give it to us.
- IP address — Logged with signups for rate limiting and spam prevention. Not shared with anyone.
- Location data — When the app launches, we'll use your location to show nearby activities. We never store exact locations long-term and never sell location data.
- Usage data — Basic analytics to understand how people use the app and make it better. Nothing personally identifiable.
What we don't do
- Sell your data to third parties. Ever.
- Share your email with marketers or advertisers.
- Track you across the internet.
- Use your location data for anything other than showing nearby activities.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Access to personal data is restricted to team members who need it to operate the service.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to run Hey Quickie (hosting, email delivery, analytics). These services only receive the minimum data necessary to function and are bound by their own privacy policies.
PDPA compliance
Hey Quickie is based in Singapore and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Just email us.
Your rights
You can request to see, update, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Want off the waitlist? Just ask. We'll remove your data promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know via email or a notice on the site. We won't quietly change things and hope nobody notices.
