Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 February 2026
The basics
Hey Quickie ("we", "us", "the app") is a platform for finding people to do activities with. By using our website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English because nobody reads legalese anyway.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, you give us your email address so we can notify you when Hey Quickie launches. We'll send you one email (maybe two) about the launch. That's it. We won't spam you. You can ask to be removed at any time.
Be a decent human
When the app launches, we expect everyone to treat each other with basic respect. This means:
- Show up when you say you will (or let people know if you can't).
- Don't use the platform to harass, spam, or be a jerk.
- Don't post fake activities or misleading information.
- Don't use Hey Quickie for anything illegal.
We reserve the right to remove anyone who makes the experience worse for others.
Your safety
Hey Quickie connects you with people for activities. We don't run background checks and can't guarantee anyone's identity or behaviour. Use common sense when meeting people: meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. You're responsible for your own safety.
Your content
Anything you post on Hey Quickie (activities, messages, profile info) stays yours. But by posting it, you give us permission to display it within the app so the service can function. We won't use your content for advertising or sell it.
Our liability
Hey Quickie is provided "as is." We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee the service will be available 100% of the time. We're not liable for any interactions, meetups, or activities that happen through the platform. Use it at your own discretion.
Account termination
You can delete your account (or waitlist entry) at any time by emailing us. We can also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continued use of Hey Quickie after changes means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in Singaporean courts.
